Glennon customers also have the choice of a Budget policy that excludes cover for personal property, valuables and money. This option offers premium savings of approximately 20%, but we recommend that you ensure that such property is adequately covered under your home insurance policy to fully meet your requirements. Each of the Long Stay policies includes cover for up to €/£5,000 for Search & Rescue costs. For Long Stay journeys it is important that you ensure that the policy you buy covers you for any activities you may undertake on your trip. Backpacker Travel InsuranceBackpacker covers any person who is between the ages of 18 and 44 years inclusive. This policy is suitable if the main purpose of your trip is leisure and also includes general sports & recreational activities, hazardous activities and extreme activities. Incidental casual or temporary work is also included. Cover excludes pre-arranged year out or work experience placements. Student Travel InsuranceStudent Travel covers any person who is between the ages of 18 and 44 years inclusive. This policy is suitable for pre-arranged year out or work experience placements and pre-arranged study or training overseas. It also covers incidental casual or temporary work abroad, and includes general sports & recreational activities. This policy also provides cover for up to €/£5,000 in respect of Loan Repayment under the Personal Accident section of the policy. Cover excludes hazardous activities and extreme activities. Year Out / Gap Year Travel InsuranceYear Out / Gap Year covers any person who is between the ages of 18 and 44 years inclusive. This policy is suitable for pre-arranged year out or work experience placements, and also covers general sports & recreational activities and hazardous activities. Cover excludes extreme activities and incidental casual or temporary work. Young Traveller InsuranceYoung Traveller covers any person who is between the ages of 15 and 17 years inclusive, and must be arranged by a parent (person with parental responsibility) or legal guardian on behalf of the young person travelling. This policy is suitable for pre-arranged year out or work experience placements, pre-arranged study or training abroad or for backpacking, and includes cover for general sports & recreational activities and hazardous activities. If you are backpacking only, cover includes incidental casual or temporary work. Cover excludes extreme activities, and, where you are on pre-arranged study, work placement or work experience, cover also excludes incidental casual or temporary work.
